1 part my sister Ann’s Fatoush (Lebanese salad)

1 part my sister Ginia’s Maahmouls (Lebanese cookie)

1 part my sister Tricia’s roasted vegetables

1 part my sister Kathy’s creamy pork chops

1 part my sister Susan’s homemade donuts

1 part my sister Jill’s Friendly sundaes

1 part my brother Michael’s campfire steaks

Sometimes you just need your family to provide you comfort

  1. Mmmm….I love how much I learn about you from this wonderful list post. Makes me want to do my own – I’m already wondering which sibling would bring which food. Now I’ll go to sleep dreaming happily of family gatherings.

  2. I love the way you offer this list — and I want to come to your family dinners. Mujadara and fattoush are two of my favorite foods. There used to be a Lebanese takeout place in my neighborhood, and those were my go-to dishes, if I wasn’t having a lamb schawarma. And I will check out the mujadara recipe.

    1. Peanut butter balls are on My Happy List . . . when I need to go to a happy place, I remember dipping PBBs in the wee hours of the morning and you showing up unexpectedly at my door.
